Kick off the GOPC Film Fest,  co-hosted by Great Outdoor Provision Co. and Chair 8, with an unforgettable night of Mountainfilm on Tour on Wednesday, February 25 at the historic Rialto Theatre in Raleigh!

The celebration begins with a cocktail hour in the Rialto lobby from 5–6:30 p.m., the perfect place to gather with fellow adventurers before the stories unfold on screen. Doors officially open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.

Mountainfilm on Tour brings a powerful lineup of culturally rich, adventure-driven, and thought-provoking documentary shorts. True to Mountainfilm’s mission, each film is crafted to inspire, challenge, and ignite connection while spotlighting people and ideas working toward a better world.

This year’s films span skiing, mountain biking, surfing, and a powerful special screening of Best Day Ever—all centered on using film to create a better world. This a truly special stop on the tour and a standout start to the GOPC Film Fest!

Here’s what to expect:

🍲 Food Truck: Tombachi will be serving up some their renowned hibachi from 5pm-7pm! Come hungry!

🎥 Special Screening: This stop of Mountainfilm on Tour will feature an exclusive sneak peek of Best Day Ever, a documentary that follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they tackle the daily challenges of disability—and find joy, connection, and belonging in Vermont's mountain biking community. Following this film we'll have a very special Q&A with Director Ben Knight.
