We’re excited to host a special fly tying night ahead of our Great Outdoor Film Festival and the 2025 premiere of the Fly Fishing Film Tour. Join us February 19th at Great Outdoor Provision Co., Village District location, for Fly Tying with Capt. Cameron Pappas of Blackbird Guide Services.

Capt. Cam is a North Carolina local, based in Wrightsville Beach were he guides amongst the marsh and near shore waters for a variety of species including redfish and false albacore. Cam’s enthusiasm for teaching and flair as a visual creator makes him a wonderful addition to this annual ‘kick-off’ to our film festival. The space for this event is limited and we’ll provide all the materials for redfish and albie patterns - participants will need to provide their own vises & tools.

100% of the proceeds will benefit the Blue Ridge Guide Association's Disaster Relief Fund, which supports fly guides and fly shops that were affected by Hurricane Helene.
