Fly Tying Class Beginner- Winston Salem

We're excited to continue hosting our fly tying classes at Fiddlin’ Fish Brewing Company in Winston-Salem for 2026! This introductory class will focus on developing your skills as a new fly-tyer. You’ll gain confidence using essential tools; fly-tying vise, bobbin, scissors, hackle pliers, and a whip-finisher.

We'll dive into natural / synthetic materials, hooks, threads, wire and finishing materials. We'll also discuss how material sizing varies based on the fly size.
